4.Scroll down to "Download, delete, or make a plan for your data"
5.Click on "Delete a service or your account"
6.Follow the on-screen instructions to delete your account.
Note that before you delete your Gmail account, you should download any important information you have stored in the account, such as emails and contacts, as this information will be lost when the account is deleted. Also, you will lose access to any other Google services that are associated with that account.
Another thing to consider is that you will be unable to use that email address for signing up for any Google services for a specific period of time after the deletion of your account.
